How can i fit in with the olds at bingo?

I am taking my nan to mecca bingo tonight and being a little younger than the other purple rinse brigade, what advice would you give when it comes to playing bingo?

I work with seniors all the time, and they can actually be a lot of fun. You’d be surprised how interesting their lives have been, if you just ask and listen with respect you can learn an awful lot about life.

Just stop thinking of them as some alien race–don’t refer to them by insulting terms like “olds” or “purple rinse brigade”–how’d you like if they called you “young punk” or “fetus boy whose sack hasn’t yet dropped.” LOL Just because they’re older than you doesn’t give you any license to treat them like they’re unaware–older people have a sense of humor too, so just relax and talk like you would any of your friends!
