A bathroom installation encompasses several different and unique skills, a large amount of people just relate plumbing with a bathroom renovation, when it is really not the case. If you sit back and take into account what is really involved in bathroom room renovation, then you would be taken back. To do a full bathroom renovation you are really looking at about four different trades to complete the task to a first rate standard.

Plumbing is the most obvious trade associated with a bathroom installation, you obviously need to have a plumber to install your bath, basin and toilet and any other item that requires a water supply. But you will also require a tiler as well to do the tiling work, not all plumbers can tile or maybe not to a good standard as tiling is a job in its self. A good quality tiling job really makes the difference to any bathroom so finding a good tile is an essential.
If you are planning to fit an electric shower, then you will also require the services of an electrician to fit the cable work that will supply the shower with electrical power. This is a skilled job and a poorly fitted electric shower can be dangerous or even lethal if not correctly fitted. An electrician may also be required to fit spot lamps or down lighting in your bathroom, again there are regulations in the UK that govern what type of lighting that can be fitted in a bathroom.

Some makers like Triton showers may include detailed information about shower installation with their products. They tell you what size cable and breaker you should use and how to go about the installation. But this is a guide only and unless you are really knowledgeable then the responsibility should be left to a qualified electrician.

A lot of bathrooms that I have worked on have been in very old properties, and the state of the walls has not been good. In some cases the old render and plaster work has been in that bad of a condition, it has had to be removed. It may be loose or flaky or just too rough to apply tiles over. If this is the case then you are definitely going to need the services of a good plasterer. A decent base for tiling really makes the job; it is worth the extra dollars and time to get the walls good before you start off tiling, apart from looking excellent the job will last. Tiling over loose plaster is a waste of time and cash; really you are throwing your money away as the tiles will start to fall of the wall over a length
of time. If you are going to do the task do it right because in the long run it will save you money as your bathroom will stay looking the part for years to come. GA bathroom installation Liverpool will not even start to tile over a bad wall as we simply cannot guarantee are workmanship and the quality of our finish, we always insist on a good solid wall as a starting point. Plumbers in Garston recommend that the bathroom is dry lined using plaster board rather than using sand and cement render as there is no drying time involved.
